The Gray Ghost might just be the best fly for large trout ever invented. The fly set
records in Maine for brook trout, one which inventor Carrie Stevens herself held for awhile,
and yet it catches large trout seemingly everywhere else as well. One look at the
silhouettes of record trout in Dan Bailey's fly shop in Montana will bear this out.
Fish after fish was caught with the Gray Ghost.
